Good video. One quick question: how beefy does the laptop need to be? Does it have to have a discrete GPU, or will one with a decent CPU be sufficient? My target is being able to stream 1080p @ 60fps on Twitch with 6000 bitrate. Thank you in advance.

So, it doesn't need to have a ton. The more stuff you add to the stream, the harder it gets on it. And if you were to lower it to 720 or 960? I think it is. It would relieve a ton of pressure on the laptop. But try it at 1080 and see. Because you don't have to buy anything to try it I'd say just give it a go.

I still can't see my gaming pc, tried for a while now and I got nothing. Something I'm missing but can't figure it out.

Make sure they are plugged into the same device (switch or w/e your internet is going through). That's what I noticed cause the most issues with not being able to see it

My "streaming PC" does not find the "gaming PC" from the scene drop down menu. It sort of finds itself(streaming pc) and even if I select that, its a black screen and none of my scenes from the gaming PC appear on the streaming PC. FYI: I`m on the same network on both PCs. Any ideas?

Make sure they are on the same network (if you have a switch make sure it's on the same switch)

Make sure you are on a wired connection. And turn the quality bar down to like 60 ish amd try that (this does require having a decent speed internal network) and the less you are teleporting the better. Don't try to do to much

What if my laptop isn’t the highest quality? It’s 4g of ram. I need a 2nd screen to see my obs better with chat. I’m tired of watching myself off my phone
