Love the tutorial. I'm not a fan of cutting my leathers so instead of making the cut on the bottom of the leather, I loop it around once, then loop it around again, and then i put the cross lace up through the not. Works better for me

I feel there's no need to cut slits once you reach the throat of the head. The other alternative I use instead are zip ties once you wrap the crosslace around the leather going down, around, then up.

look up a transition knot you don't want to weaken your leathers with a hole

@sammcilhargey54309 жыл бұрын
He said 13-15 inches, but he ment 13-15 FEET of crosslace

when you stretch out the pocket with the ball and knife can you position the ball so that it would end up being a mid to high pocket

Could you show how you made the loops and stuff I had to redo my stick 4 times and I think you should show the middle section.
@erik22lax10 жыл бұрын
I don't cut holes in the bottom of the leathers-you can just continue the same pattern-you can use smaller cross lace sections and put holes in each of the bottom of the leathers to secure the crosslace as well. Don't expect to not mess up. You have to learn some lessons in the process like spacing, tension, length of string, string placement etc.

And you didn't even go through everything step. You did the second row of diamonds without us actually seeing you so it so now idk wtf to do

literally strung this probably 4-5 times and messed it up every single time. literally cut all my leathers and string and snapped the head i got so mad

I think you mean 13-15 feet not inches.

lol i am so happy that i bought a traditional head and don't have to do all this!!!
@NovaRebels8 жыл бұрын
Never cut holes in the leathers! It makes them weaker. Look at the KZbin video by traditree called " bottom transition knots". This just puts a knot at the bottom instead of cutting a hole
