I feel like many slower learners actually succeed in the end more. As a fast learner, I can say that although I understand things the moment that I hear them, I’m less likely to remember it in the long term. Slow learners are more likely to start to take the time and effort to internalise what fast learners already know, and thus can retain information longer. To all the slow learners out there, I believe in you!

@@bangtanholic6332 I think you have to study more physics and focus on what's important before going to the hardest (like the exercises). And in the same time, study for biology and if you feel like your understood important points, then you can study physics (again still focusing on important points). I'm usually better at learning languages than science and math but I've realized that over the past years I have really hold myself back in a lot of subjects and told myself that 'm just not naturally good at it and I'm not "smart" enough. And instead of studying, I set myself up for failure because I already had the expectation in my head that it's "hard" and I can't do it no matter how hard I try, which is obv bullshit. Now I know that even if some subjects don't come naturally to me and I need more time and guidance for them as science-ones, it's completely okey and I can understand the material in the end just as well.

I admit I'm a slow learner. Thanks for telling me these tips. Story: I've always blame myself for being a slow learner some more I come to think if I'm studying the wrong way. I've spent my whole year just to revision or study Sejarah and not other subjects. Because they say it's important than anything else. But when I got my marks I just realized that I haven't been focusing any subjects by then, but Sejarah only. But in the end, I can't even answer Sejarah questions even though I've been sacrificing for the whole year. By that time, I realized I've been studying the wrong way. How I study originally was doing Past Year Questions. I've asked my mom and watch a ton of video tips but it didn't help. Eventually I saw another video and try their advice. It worked for a few days, but later on it's starting to become non-effective. What their advice was making notes. The reason why it wasn't effective anymore is because I didn't make it detailed enough. Luckily when I saw your video, I decided to try them out. I don't know if it's useful but from what I know from this video is that you've listed all my problems, and It motivated me and I'm giving it a last try. I'm glad you told me the truth about studying.

After watching this video I have learnt a lot as a slow leaner myself. This has shown me and made me understand that as a slow learner I should prefer studying ahead and not later then that. Because whatever is shown here has made me reflect on my self as a slow leaner. Thanks a lot for the video.

Hi mam, I am Bhavya Jha, a middle school student, this side from India. I just love your videos, all your videos come up with great ideas and make us plan and excute our studies. I have an idea, why don't you try making a video on revision methods to use when revising for exams?? Since,I have my competitive exams approaching next month and I need to revise for the same , so this video will be highly helpful to me and for the other people out there for revising the study materialfor exams, etc Lots of love Bhavya Jha

Hi Faye, thanks for the new video, it really helps a lot! My favorite subject now is probably Biology and Chemistry hehe 😆 I have one question, though you probably already explain this in your past videos, but how do you time manage between studying and doing homework? I'm now struggling balancing between both of it ☠️ Thank you Faye, wish you all the best 💖

i found my new helper guys thanks for this! This past few weeks i feel like giving up because all the lessons are jumbled in my head so it's exhausting and additionally im doubting myself that much but then i found this in my reco! 💗☹️

Thank you Faye...I would want to assume I'm far older than you but I didnt know how to overcome this slow learning. I knew I wasn't dumb but found it difficult to understand the first time and it pained me to know that I have to put more effort than others and still not come out as good as them. While in high school, I resorted to cramming which didn't help in the long run. I accept this truth today and will put your techniques to practice. Thank you once again

@Fayefilms3 жыл бұрын
You have to be consistent and adjust your sleeping schedule. Sleep and wake up at the same time everyday and you’ll soon get used to it. If you’re still very tired after a month, that just means that your body isnt meant to wake up that early~

I am better at learning sciences and Math and I am currently in Medical school. I've always been good in Maths and Sciences which has made me think I have a logical way of understanding things. Recently though, I have been struggling to understand and absorb information and I keep beating myself up thinking I should be better. I am going back to the drawing board and I realise I am quite slow at grasping new information which is always a ton in medical school. Thank you so much for your video, it's given me hope and insight that I might take more time but it doesn't mean I am not smart enough.
