Woow! Great content as always.👏 Sir Shaibu, pls with regards to the deadlines, i want to apply for a Master's program at Georgia Southern University, where i have a great fit. They have a lot of different kinds of fundings & graduate assistantships. They also require transcript evaluation. However, their priority deadline (April 1) has elapsed. But the deadline for application is June 1. I have already prepared my application documents, with the exception of WES though. Please, do you advice I put in the application for this school at this time? Jazaakallah Khair.

Please, don’t apply after the priority deadline. You are not likely to be offered funding. Patience is an important virtue to achieve great things. Keep polishing your documents. Next Fall applications usually open in September.

There is an emergency appointment you can use...ideally 45 days before your program start date. You will be fine.

You are really doing a very good work. I don't know how I can communicate with you easily. I have a visa interview in October but my start date is August 20th, I have applied for an expedited visa but I was denied, so I'm thinking of deferring the program to spring in January.

Your emergency appointment was not approved because it was too early. Normally, you need to wait until about 2 months to your program start-date.

@@ShaiGuides you are right, I was actually advised to apply. I had wanted to wait till July. But I was told it's ok to apply now. However, it is not the visa denial. I will just defer to spring and have the interview in October. How do you see that?

It is possible to get an date before August. You need to be checking every morning.

@@ShaiGuides ok, but I can't cancel the appointment. I had a notice on the platform that says if I cancel the appointment I will have to pay another fee. I don't know if rescheduling the appointment is the same thing as canceling. I still have the option to reschedule.

Looks like you have one last opportunity to reschedule. So instead of canceling, reschedule your appointment. I don't understand why you selected an appointment in October in the first place.
