It's very interesting to know that we can learn more than 2 languages at once. Thank you so much pro Tim for inspiring my learning languages journey

I know that you have made so much progress in your language-learning journey by studying more than one language at a time.

@@parvejind what language do you offer in exchange. Most people want to create an exchange situation. There are quite a few Facebook groups where you can try to find exchange partners.

Interessante videos! Ik begrijp niet waarom uw videokanaal niet meer aandacht krijgt tussen de vele KZbinrs die hun talenten in vals daglicht zetten. Ti auguro buona fortuna!

Studying multiple languages at the same can be beneficial. .when you get stucked in the infamous "intermediate plateau", starting a new language brings back that boost of motivation. Making quick progress (like in the very beginning of a language) keeps you engaged and allows you to continue studying.
@polyglotdreams Жыл бұрын
Very true! It is a struggle to get past that "intermediate platau"... I find reading and listing to interesting material helps a lot.

Super interesting. My little daughter speaks 3 languages fluently, spanish, german and english, and now she's learning norwegian, french and japanese at the same time, she says that it's easier that way.

Yes, when she has the passion to learn she can feel fulfilled by having the opportunity to learn multiple languages at one time. It simply requires passion, commitment, and consistency.

many thanks for this video, because I already try to achieve exactly this and my progress is going very slowly. I liked the part on how not to mix languages, because I also find comparative linguistics and ethymology fascinating. very informative and motivating to me

I learned Spanish and when I would try to learn Portuguese or Italian I would mix them up with Spanish. But, my Spanish speaking friends say they are not that similar. They can understand some words, but not full sentences. I guess that is because they use Spanish all the time. So, I agree with what she is saying. You will not confuse the languages if you use them all the time.

I love the talent you both have, but in the end I did understand the 'method' to study multiple languages at once without mixing them? It was rough ideas rather than an actual method
@polyglotdreams Жыл бұрын
Yes.. it's true that it is more about attitude and effort than following a prescribed method.
