This is what you should do: 1. Buy Rs agarwal. 2. Read theory from ncert and rs agarwal and solved examples. 3. See the solved example of rs agarwal and ncert. Question it, why has the author used this method? Why did he divide the whole equation by tan ø? How does this construction help in solving pythagoras related questions? Why should I construct this? If in a proof of trignometry sin and cos are given and rhs is in tan and cot then use your brain in how to bring answer in terms of tan and cot. Why do we have to make 1/x and 1/y to u and v in linear equations? Can't we solve them without giving a different variable to them? 4. NEVER MEMORIZE. Always try to understand the reason behind the answer. If you have to prove something like the pythogoras theorem then see and understand why does this proof work. Then close the book and try to prove it on basis of your understanding and logic rather than memory. Its ok if you bring the answer in a different way. It's okay to try 5 times. 5. Solve rs agarwal main exercise and ncert main exercise next. Do not search for the answers online. Try to solve it atleast 5 times by yourself then see the hints given at end of chapter in rs agarwal or online (just main exercise, no need to do objectives) 6. Do not solve chapters constructions, volume surface area(mensuration) , statistics , perimeter areas from rs agarwal. It's a waste of time and will prove to be out of portion. 7. Solve all algebra, trignometry and triangles,circles coordinate geometry from rs agarwal as well as ncert both. 8. Solve previous year questions (not practise questions as they are often out of syallabus)(oswaal) when your preboards end. 9. Chapters triangles and trignometric identities are hardest conceptwise and must be understood well. 10. Volume surface area, areas of circle sectoe and segment requires good calculations so practice calculating for these chapters. 11. SOLVE NCERT OPTIONAL QUESTIONS AT ALL COSTS. THOUGH THEY HAVE WRITTEN THESE QUETSIONS DON'T COME BUT THEY ACTUALLY COME IN EXAMS. 12. Solved examples of rs agarwal and ncert must be solved. They are very important. A question from solved examples of ncert came in my boards and no one was able to solve it . 13. Little bit of memorizing is required in trignometric identities. Some questions only have one way to solve and any other way would require unnecessary lenghty calculation. 14. Do not leave heights and distances, statistics. 2 four marks questions come from here and these are very easy . I got 59/80 in class 9 and when I applied this method I got 79/80 in class 10 . This method definitely works. I got 20 marks increment from this method. I am in class 12 right now and regretting why I didn't study like this in class 11.
