I have a Harriton 3XL sized denim shirt. It is the same shade of blue as your denim shirt is. However, I always roll both sleeves up about one turn each above my elbows. I turn them inside out and rip on them. I don't do light, small rolls, I roll them really heavy looking. When I'm done, they have a padded look to them and sit really high up on my arms. I have worn the shirt like that in public, I've gone shopping, to work, ran other errands, with it like that.

I love outfit number three! I’m 70 and I would definitely wear the double denim. I might add a cardigan around my shoulders and a belt. If my pants have belt loops and they are showing, I always wear a belt. I also liked outfit one. It is actually the one that I would wear more often. Love your channel! ❤️

I actually find a smart dark denim jacket to be very versatile and it makes dressier items more casual, such as worn over a black tank dress. The importance is to find a soft denim, with a shape that is flattering and feminine and then it works over a lot of pieces! For me it’s a standard travel item.

I own a few in a faded light blue denim shirts, a very casual look. I agree the darker ones do look newer at least. I own a Levi's dark blue denim jacket in a slim fitting stretch fabric. It creates a kind of Biker jacket look. For dark blue Jeans I prefer a wool twill tan utility jacket or a cardigan sweater either a shaker style or cable knit. It would be necessary to rearrange the pairings when including an over sized shirt. I do not often wear denim in a dress or skirt even though I do own an A-line button front denim skirt which is almost floor length, below midi-length.

Good question - you need to go for looks that lengthen your silhouette so try to avoid breaks in the look like too much contrast. I have a number of videos for my lovely Petite Ladies and hope you get a chance to watch them x

I like your double denim look, it suits you a lot! It looks a little like a denim shirt dress from my side of the screen, which is not the best view, I’m on a train and the sun is streaming through the window. The boots, they are very you. I have some exactly the same shape in dark burgundy suede, I would wear those with my denim skirt. I also stick to dark wash denim when I wear it. Faded jeans on my legs look like giant plaster casts somehow. xx
