Thanks so much for this video, been running around in a circle trying to explain to my mother that a pixie/fohawk can be work appropriate and finally got smart and showed her this vid. This and the one showing how to trim were the inspirations for me and when mom saw this she said how great you looked and then helped me shape my hair. I'd made a bit of a mess of it myself, though your trimming tips really helped. Thank you so much! By the way, I am almost thirty, and don't live with the parents, but mom has way more hair trimming experience than I do, I only started cutting my own hair this year and I really wanted her on board for back up and damage control.

Heather, I was searching and searching for your video. I first viewed it when I want thinking of getting a Pixie, which I did. I love it. I recently had it cut, but the front was a little short, so I wanted to review your tutorial. I couldn't find it. I kept saying..."where's my girl, where's my girl". I was thinking about getting a faux hawk style hair cut but I work in a factory so it wouldn’t make sense to style it like that every day, but then I came across this video. This cut would be perfect for me, I could just put it in a pixie style for work and do a faux hawk on the weekends, I’ll definitely check it out again in the future if I end up getting my hair cut like this. Thanks for the help. I've always used a gel, and liked the look the next day, but achieving the look the day putting the product in my hair it never resulted in the desired look. Now, I use a pomade and wax. Thanks for enlightening me.

This is actually p great, I'm getting a similar haircut soon so I've been bingeing these types of vids to see the different ways to style it. When I get it cut, itll go just barely touch my eyebrows. At the moment the sides and most of the back is buzzed short and my bangs fall about three inches past my chin.

Heather, I love your videos, especially the music to you cutting your mohawk! What do you think of the dry shampoo's (my hair needs volume) the wax's and pomades and putties don't work well on my hair type. I so want to do the mohawk but I'm afraid to cut my hair that short on the sides. I would love another video of a longer side cut, I mean, not down to the scalp, maybe 1/18th". I love your style!

My fiancé has curly hair and I cut his hair like this! If you want it straight you can relax it or use straightner but if you want to keep the curls I would just cut your hair on top like a layer. It's kinda hard to explain on here! I had a video on how to cut it but I had to take it down for copyright since songs were in the background. I made a new one but can't get it uploaded for anything on this app I used and gave been dealing with that for several days! :) I'll try to think of a way I can help

ばけねこ化け猫 I completely understand, I am self taught. I decided I didn't want to spend money every 3 weeks as well. My hair grows fast! I just started out cutting a little bit at a time like not cutting so short so drastically. I used the longest setting on the clippers first and as I got more comfortable I started using shorter settings and trying different styles. Have you seen my diy: how to cut a Mohawk video? That might help a little :)
