That pink jacket looks fabulous on you. And I really like the black detailing on the lapels and pockets. The black canvas shoes look better. This video came at the perfect time. I recently discovered a 1940s pattern for waistcoats, gilets and similar (to wear on their own or over blouses/jumpers) and will be making some to use up the bits of fabric in my fabric collection but they will also mean I can mix and match my skirts getting more outfits from them. You have given me some great ideas (and I don't wear sleeves shorter than 3/4 length).

I bought a men’s waistcoat in the thrift store for about $5. I wear it in the cooler months open, over a button-up shirt or a turtleneck sweater.Trousers or jeans for a casual look, or with a skirt to keep things a bit more feminine (referencing your recent live stream on creating contrasts). In the fall I hope to take the waistcoat to a tailor to have it fitted to be able to wear it closed, as you have demonstrated today. Thanks for the inspiration! !

Thanks for “playing” with your waistcoat! The pink jacket is my favourite 🩷, it worked better than the red due to the neckline. Red is my favourite colour and it would look very stylish if the “right” jacket accompanies it. Loved the playful flower dress look too. Style should outlast & outshine fashion.
