How To Style Hair 3 Ways Using Flat Iron | Milabu

Here is a great project that we finished on how to curl your hair three different ways using a flat iron or hair straightener. I show a few simple flat iron techniques that I hope will help you achieve many variations of waves and curls for your hair. Here I'm going from a minimal hairstyle to a glam hairstyle (from simple loose waves, to defined waves, to tight glam curls) , whichever style you want to create to express your unique beauty. Have you tried using a curling wand with no clip? Just wrap a piece of hair around it and hold it for 10 sec. Remington makes a good one that's super affordable.

Don't try to press the straightener really hard on your hair, it'll destroy it. :) You can do it! Practice makes perfect!

Start practicing with a cold flat/curling iron, trying to do what she does. Angles are important but also the temperature of your iron. The higher the heat, the more likely you are to get a curl and a curl that lasts. Try not to pull your hair so much so that you don't damage it. And find a good iron, not something that ruins your hair, like ceramic plate irons,not ones that just have a ceramic coat over them

I’m the opposite. I can curl my right hair but my left side is hopeless.

You have to flip the hair differently. Can’t remember which side is which, but if you notice she rests the hair on top of the straightener. On the other side of your head, out the hair on the bottom. This will achieve the curls going the same way on both sides, of this makes sense. I struggled with this for a long time until I watched a bunch of videos and figured it out.
