I have this wig in martini, I can't say how much I love it or how many compliments I get. I haven't treated it with heat and never ever have brushed it with anything other than the Jon renau comb. it still looks fantastic after 3 months of wear but I'm afraid to curl it and stuff like that.

Thanks Patti - It feels like I'm in your salon taking personal direction from you. Please don't stop. Here is a question from a dark brunette. I've been exploring the idea of going with a blonde wig - pixie to jaw length. Do you have a recommendation for a transitional style (between pixie to jaw length layered bob style) for someone who is attempting to move from dark brown to a blonde direction?? Perhaps you have already compiled a video on that topic? If so - appreciate our guidance......and also the guidance of your viewers for suggestions. All fun stuff!

Hi Marjolein! We don't suggest going from a dark brunette to a blonde quickly as the shock of the color difference will most likely make you hate the style regardless. We suggest going to a lighter brown with some highlights first then a dark blonde and then lighter if you wish. It's best to go slowly and work your way up to the change. Best Wishes!

Ignite is totally beautiful curled is there a service that would do that for someone I don't trust myself with heat tools

Although I haven't worn my ignite very many times, and a brush has never gotten within 5 in of her because of her HD fiber I have only used a pic or a wide-tooth comb. She is starting to look frizzy. When I wash her I only put cool water and the cap of fabric softener and the sink and likely swirl it in the water. I let the water drain out of sink and allow it to sit there for about an hour to really drain and then I wrap it in a towel and stand on the towel to push out the water. I try to always remember to spray her with Jon renau conditioner each time I wear it, yet it just looks dry and Frizzy. I wonder if curling her like you have would hide some of that? I also have the Helen of Troy round blow dryer thing that you can use on all wigs to give them some umph. Maybe I should try that first before I curl it, because I love it straight!

If you are washing your wig in hard water, the fibers break down faster. If you don't have a water softener, use bottled water to wash your wig for longer life.

Patti what is the color w/ the darker roots in ignite that u have on ? ALSO: I can’t style my own hair because I have fibromyalgia & arthritis. Can I buy that ignite styled w/ the beachy waves from u ? I live in Irving Tx. I don’t know if it would make it thru shipping but I had to ask. If u can I need the hairspray also. The upside to finding a curly synthetic wig as opposed to curling a straight wig, is that the style will hold even after washing, which makes upkeep even easier if you're wanting something that keeps curl!
