Why are loafers called mocassins if you come south of the Dutch-Belgian border? Belgium, France, Spain, Italy: mocassins! The American term "Belgian Loafer" thus is very stupid. Belgians don't wear loafers. Guess you want to know how they call mocassins there? I can't figure out. Guess they call American mocassins either ugly, midlife-crisis-porsche shoes or granny shoes.
