I like the technique you use with the flat iron! I've never used it before but I think it will work better on my hair versus other tutorials I have seen. I just got a pixie cut recently and have been trying to figure out how I want to style it and I think this is it! Thanks so much.

+Brianna G That is a great question. Once you have the flat iron curl technique down, I would say I spend about 10-15 minutes styling freshly washed hair. If it's next day hair (and usually it is, haha) I will typically just add dry shampoo to the roots, pop in a few curls around the crown, and top with a bit of spray wax. Really quick and easy, done in under 10 minutes.

I used to do that to get curl, but I'm lazy and found out sleeping in pillow rollers does the job with half the effort. i just comb the tight spiral curls out into a usable curl/wave.

I love wearing my hair in a pixie, but I tend to have a couple of issues. I have cowlicks at my nape. Also I have alot of natural wave, but it's also fine. I would love some advice and suggestions. Thanks, Julie

+Julie Heare Yay! I'm so happy you love your pixie. I also have a few cowlicks and they can be hard to work around. Since they are at the nape of the neck, I suggest you keep that area really short so that it's easier to work with. If you do a longer Pixie style you might even consider an undercut like I did when I was growing out my shorter pixie for a longer style.
