great video! thumbnail ... nails it, shows exactly what to expect in your video. like some people on reddit already said, your calm delivery is great, you speak in an understandable manner and you try to cut the topic down to the minimum. that you explain the tailoring terms is great, too, at least for most of the people watching this. you explained tailoring in depth - why didnt you mention made to measure? you talk so much about tailoring in the sense of altering stuff, but nailing the fit from the get-go is far better. brands like enfin leve offer that, and if you want tshirts or stuff made out of more common fabrics (like, merino wool), you also can go directly to a tailor and they will be able to provide pattern making or even sewing of a piece - for not too much money, if you keep in mind that a merino tee in retails also costs you about 100 bucks. I come from the other side of the spectrum - also somewhat tall, but very thin and with not really thicc thighs, bt longer arms than the average size - also not exactly the satandard body type, for example nike and the more common brands also dont fit me. i have the impression that more clothing (at keast from the american market) is targeted more towards the bigger people, since the people as a whole get bigger. on the other hand, this might be a very skewed observation. whaty your opinion on that? recognising the adam jensen coat . i remember one dude on the techwear subreddit gettinf lamed since the jensen coat didnt fit him well and he got many salty comments since he wasnt as thin as other people. two question about that: how does the adam jensen coat fot you as a thiccer person? and do you get comments like "techwear needs a fit body"? whats your opinion on this subject? [i know thats already a very personal topic, you dont have to say anything about it, while on the other hand side, its interesting to see a video from you as a thiccer techwear boy about how you experience the community] at last - great to see another youtuber taking the plunge and doing videos about the topic. the interenet is big enough for us all, lets collaborate and bring the different aspects of techwear to the people!

Wow this was the coolest question asked so far, thank you for the feedback! As for made to order and custom sizing I will definitely go into depth on a tailoring video where I show different techniques of tailoring those at home can do with a sewing machine. Also, the Jensen coat I actually have a video on that piece as well so look out for that when it is released. I did face issues with certain pieces in the past in regards to the particular piece just looking weird on my body type, but I think things like tailoring and layering and attention to texture and color can reduce that a lot when it comes to achieving any kind of fashion aesthetic. Even though, at the end of the day some pieces will look better on smaller people and others will look better on larger people I think that any body type can be included into the same worlds of aesthetics and style. So to sum up I think that techwear and other fashion styles are large enough of a spectrum of silhouettes and pieces that most people can still participate.

Thank you so much for the vid man!! I'm 6'1" and 230 and didn't think I could end up buying anything from gorilla-group due to size constraints, but after watching this and getting some sort of explanation as to how I should view the measurements, it turns out I am a-ok with just a lrg pair of pants and xlrg jacket. So, in other words, you have helped me out quite a bit, so I appreciate it!!!!

yup I have a similar problem, I have a larger butt and thighs and finding pants can be difficult, my body annoyingly stores fat mostly in the middle so my upper body can look quite fit but my legs are chunky. Since a lot of pants are a straight cut the ones that fit my thighs are too big at the waist and many are just too tight in the hip area so movement is limited. jeans are a nightmare, although levis 541 are better than most. It helps to find pants with stretchy fabric. With tops I can find many that fit awesome on my upper body but are tighter at the hem and so sit on my hips rather than hanging down, so I've been trying more oversized tops but some still sit on my hips. I'm losing weight slowly its just a bummer taht in the meantime looking good in clothes is so challenging.

Don't mean to be a jerk but honestly, you should just work on losing weight. Sure you can fit clothes that fit your current size, but if you're overweight then your overweight my friend and you'll never be able to look as good as if you were fit and in-shape. No hate just saying
