I am also 5'1" and my opinion is that wide legs only look good on my specific body under these conditions: 1. With a heal or wedge shoe 2. Bottom opening large enough to go over the shoe without bunching up and ending about 1/2 inch from the floor 3. High waisted. BTW your hair is looking so good, I'd love a new video on your haircut and styling tips 🙂

When I buy "relaxed" fit pants (my pair is from Express), they are the right width for the wide pants look so I don't look overwhelmed by too much fabric. When pants are described as "wide," they make me look frumpy because they are proportioned to look good on someone at least 4 inches taller.

Great series idea (and a great haircut by the way!). Do you have any suggestions for someone who can't seem to tuck in? I do half-tuck sweaters sometimes and may be able to tuck in completely a top with a silkier drape but that's it. I have a larger chest and a really short waist. Thanks!

oversized blazers are such a staple for me! Well, I guess the "boyfriend" fit which is wide in the body but fitted well in the shoulders and sleeve length so not sure if that's considered oversized! about the maxi denim trend... I'm not sure but I'm definitely passing on that for myself 🙈 I love flowy/thin maxi skirts, they look beautiful on everyone!!

As a petite woman, my favorite pants style is lantern. That’s not jeans, it doesn’t come in jeans. Maybe it’s because I have chunky legs, but even on other people, I find them very attractive.

I just bought 3 pr of wide legged trousers. The ones I bought are all wider at the hem than yours so I think the shoes you styled yours with may not work with mine. You always have great suggestions for styling as a petite.

The problem is that Elena has very narrow hips and a long torso. That's why her fashion suggestions don't fit many other small (even slim) women. If you have a short waist, the waistline of coats, for example, sits on your hips and the coat doesn't fit. This also applies to coats in particular. Who voluntarily wears open coats in winter?
