Wow. Great ! But I think even for a pear shape. If you are confident with the shape of your legs, you can style leggings with an oversized sweater and a coat or a trench over it to create a long vertical line.

@@maryokeefe5351 Yes, that’s how it was when I was young. Now I don't feel confident about my figure, either upper or lower. And bright facial makeup does not suit the DNA of my appearance. I wore leggings back in the day with not too short minis over the top and still do (I'm 58). Sometimes easier to throw leggings on that woolly tights, although I love tights with minis. Stirrup leggings or Ski pants, as they used to be called are good in that the stretch factor under your foot means less or zero camel toe :)

I took on board the rule that a sweater, jacket, etc., covering the bottom must be worn with leggings. But, I get too hot, I can’t wear a long sweater or blazer indoors, so I wear leggings only when home. There is an easy solution, but the brands have to be willing: use thicker, and more natural fibers, and minimal Spandex; leggings-type trousers are rare, but very easy to make, it just takes better, thicker fabric. Brands love polyester and similar synthetic fabrics because they’re dirt-cheap, but they never look good on. I always wear no-show undies, so that’s not a problem. Cotton or rayon knit leggings with 1% Spandex max would ve great.

Hi Ella, I really like your work, however I disagree with one of the advises. The shiny leggings come in different styles. The typical yoga legging has a shine that makes them yell: I'm just for the gym. Not my favorite at all. However, the shiny faux leather style, that includes the full legging or only dark patches of faux leather on a matte base; is way more modern that dark, matte finished leggings. Black matte leggings look like thick stockings and are not a special or stylish item.
