preferredduck1 - you’re not the only one that does the tree thing, a lot of people do that; I wish one of them would use the 2D trees for the background, at least a bit, that way it doesn’t look like just a cluster of trees in the middle of nothing and then they randomly start again in the background, it seems to actually blend with the BG (I did that in Talons).

Awww come on codemaster, my rides arent that bad. Lol. This simulation is a process. Thankfully someone showed me some errors with the wobble in transitions long ago. I atleast also pull up colors that that match on the color charts. I want to learn how to import and do more in sketch up but my time is limited now. I also never check if my coasters get rated. I look for comments of what I can improve on. Funny video

Sorry but about the no lat g force, it actually does never make a mistake if you understand how it works, it works perfectly fine, that it sometimes banks out is normal, since it always chooses the closest point to where there are not laterals (which there are 2 of) on that point where you placed the roll, if you don't want the outer bank, then just click +/- 90 (depending on the turn) and then click no lat g force and you will get it exactly the way you want it. I thought you would know this by now.

The point i was trying to make is that yes, it removes all lat g. But you dont ALWAYS want it to. It can lead to harsh, unrealistic transitions. I use it as a guide, then almost always tweak it to achieve a final result that is desirable. Not to mention that lat g is a great tool for making rides feel out of control, and essential for making wooden coasters.

Well if you put rolls too close or if the transition is simply too tight, yes it will create harsh and unrealistic transitions, as long as the placement is good and the turns are not too sharp it works perfectly fine, But in most turns and elements it should just work fine, only if you want to have a zero-g roll/heartline roll or other elements that require different laterals its fine. But as long as the track is smooth and you exlude wooden coasters and such elements the no lat gforce works perfectly fine.

I understand that it works, and I use it, I just don't exclusively use it. Which was the point I was trying to make in this video. Lots of people think that if they just make every roll node no lat, it makes their coaster good, but then there's a huge wobble between quick transitions because they never adjusted the roll to account for the overshoot that nolimits 2's track system creates. If it's in a place of no transition then yes, it's fine to just slap on no lat and leave it. but if there's a transition, further work is needed to make the transition smoother. A lot of this stuff is covered in the Nolimits 2 Hand-building Bible, which is a very good read and explains what I mean perfectly: nolimitscentral.com/forum/topic/30
