You should have rinsed the filters with the open end facing Down, so the dust runs out with the water. Also, tappng them on the sink base while rinsing dislodges more dirt... you will see it in the water.

I had it right now for about 9 months and yes, I’m still very happy with it and I use it on a daily basis. Such a great vacuum!

I was able to finally clean my Dyson BUT I had trouble putting it back together - Could someone tell me how to get the top part out again? I can't seem to be able to line up the tracks on the dust bin to reattach it - I need to know how to separate the handheld part again and try again to put it back together - this probably makes no sense.

My canister is so hard to take off I had to push it back into place. It won’t come out.
