Ha! I almost skipped this video because I wasn't in the mood to hear about pedals. Silly me - I should have known you'd deliver SOOO much more! "Liquid Resonance" was awesome, and all the depth you give about how to construct whole new instruments by just combining a few components and then PLAY them with all the expression is just incredible! I am SO glad I didn't pass this video by. I'm always amazed at watching you create!

I really don't comment often here on YT, but I discovered your channel about a week ago, and you already are in my top tier preferred channels. I was so happy to discover it that I send it to all my musician friends! So much to learn in every single video... So much awesome pieces of hardware in this room... And so much talent and musicality in using it! Thanks a lot for all you give to us.

The Waldorf 2-pole filter instantly reminded me of the Waldorf Blofeld I had 10 years ago. Never really paid attention to the character of it but it definitely was inspiring in a different way.

You definitely inspired me. I've been of a mind set that I really need stereo filters.. and have felt this way for quite a long time.. and though this video is not quite enough to cause me to repent from this view.. it has opened my mind a little bit. Also.. I'm quite interested to see what you might do about this quad business with the Moog Modular.

Reminds me of early Megaman music. Which I realize is kind of an anachronistic take away ...But those dudes were influenced by a lot of cool Japanese 70s fusion. I think they paired those sensibilities with a kind of "action soundtrack" urgency. And this song has that 'action urgency' - very cool. And a ton more color and character than one would get out of a NES soundcard. I love it.

I've certainly enjoyed the video & the music. Divided into separate single parts I sometimes missed min to max settings because the settings the musical piece required, isolated sounded partwise too subtile to me. I'd also liked to listen to extreme settings. I certainly understand that this were perhaps too stressful & who would want to destroy settings from a quality piece of music?

At 19:00 - Interesting how the multi-octave m7 arpeggio assumes a Pentatonic character, like the Japanese Koto. “But I don’t have a Koto”: use a plucked (see Berlin School) 2+ octave arpeggio sound.

I love your information on filters. I got the plugin version on the G-force-OB X and Waldorf-D-Pole. Would be nice if they added CV, CV acts like CC. The MDE-X is cool when you use the velocity Wah preset. Use Supermodel, and then the 101S with the Mariana with cv other Moog pedals.

Love your videos. Being a musician that grew up in the 70s-80s I love everything you do. But I'll never be blessed to own all the synths and pedals you have. I'm stuck using software in the box and I try my hardest to recreate what you do. Sometimes I get lucky. But its not the same as the real thing and it never will be.
