How do I beat the groombats

dont use light when they spawn and avoid there eggs by walking around them

Groombats are attracteded to light, like insects in real life. Just turn off or put away the light source then they won't be a problem, additionally glowsticks won't hurt you if you crack one but the groombats will break it in 3 or 5 seconds.
