@@Renderlesscharacter2454 Current President Trump seems far more likely to actually "do something" than most pathetic Republi-crats. I am hearing stuff about that people voting for Trump need to also vote "down ballot" to give Trump the support that he needs. The Democrats are outright criminals and Marxists. Their base seems to be drying up, as the people figure out that Democrats care nothing about the people and only pretend to care when it comes election time. Who needs "friends" like that, quick to stab us in the back, and making false promises that they have no intention to keep? Trump is saying quite a lot of the right things, something that Democrats do not even say the right things.

I'm from belgium, I've been living in this armageddon for my whole life. I'v seen the government take sums that most people not even make in their whole life. On top of inheritance tax, the government here has one the highest tax rates in the world and surprise surprise, the debt here is also one of the biggest in the world with very low service value for money. 70% of Belgians get their money from the government. You had to start early collecting physical assets and btc to pass on. Taxing children for inheriting their parent's home is evil. For most families, that house is the entirety of any and all wealth that was accumulated over the decades. For many, the kids will be forced to sell the house to pay the tax. Times have become that difficult. I am seeing it everywhere. My parents have been hit hard. Divorce and Covid wiped me out. Inflation is killing my bottom line. More taxes of any kind is insanity.

The proposed plan speaks about lowering the threshold for paying taxes from $13.6M to 3.2M. It basically impacts roughly 1% reachest Americans. Their heirs were born with a silver spoon in their mouths, and paying extra won't hurt much their financials. Passing away is not the reason for not paying taxes on inherited capital gains and properties appreciation. It works this way in all developed countries except the US.

The income tax is unjust and property taxes are unjust, especially upon the primary home. Why would we pay for our homes, rent them from the government, and pay tax on something already paid for? The 16th Amendment that supposedly authorized the income tax, was never ratified, and there is not Part 2 section describing any means of enforcement. Why are Americans so willingly deceived? The 13th Amendment experienced an illegal switcheroo. The Preamble to the Bill of Rights said that there would be no more Amendments after the first 10.

One interesting observation I've made when looking at the total tax burden for the average resident of the U.S. compared to much of Latin America is that Americans are essentially getting a worse deal in relative terms. For example, in the U.S., the total tax burden for the average American is around 37.53%, meaning that after paying all taxes-such as income tax, sales tax, etc.-they are left with roughly 62.47% of their income. In Mexico, the tax burden is between 27-37%, in Brazil it's 29-38%, in Argentina it's 41-46%, in Chile it's 38-49%, and in Colombia it's 26-37%. In Europe, we have Germany at 47-55%, France at 45-55%, and Sweden at 52-65%. While the tax burdens in Latin America are fairly comparable to that of the U.S., the biggest difference lies in the availability of socialized healthcare in these countries. If we treat healthcare costs in the U.S. as an additional tax, Americans would likely be in one of the highest tax brackets in the world. Most estimates say Americans spend on average 17-18% of their income on on health care when considering premiums, out-of-pocket expenses, and other costs. When added to the typical tax burden (around 37.53%), this would push the total "tax-like" burden (taxes + healthcare) closer to 54-55% of total income, putting Americans in a tax-equivalent range comparable to high-tax countries like Germany and Sweden, where healthcare is already included in taxes.

@crypticnomad Ай бұрын
@@IvySnowFillyVideos One thing I didn’t consider was the effect of inflation on people in a country. Inflation can be framed as another form of tax, built into the currency and somewhat hidden. For example, just by looking at tax percentages, it might seem that people in Argentina should be in a better financial situation than those in Scandinavian countries, since their taxes include many of the same types of benefits. However, the Argentine peso has experienced roughly 180% inflation year-to-date. With a nominal tax burden of 41-46% and inflation of 180%, the real financial burden on an individual is significantly higher. Effectively, the real value of their income could decrease by more than 50% due to inflation, leaving them with much less purchasing power after accounting for both taxes and inflation. In fact, inflation appears to wipe out any post-tax income entirely, leading to a negative impact on real income. For example, if we look at Mexico, which has a tax burden of 27-37% and an average inflation rate of 3-5%, the real financial burden for a Mexican citizen falls between 29% and 40%. When inflation is factored in for Americans, the real burden rises beyond the original estimate of 54-55%. With 3% inflation, the burden becomes approximately 56.9%, and with 8% inflation, it increases to 60.03%. This puts Americans in an even higher tax-equivalent range, exceeding many countries with socialized healthcare, such as Sweden or Germany, where healthcare is already included in taxes. This highlights that inflation has a significant impact on real purchasing power and needs to be considered alongside taxes and healthcare when analyzing the overall financial burden on citizens of any country.

So, how exactly does a member of the executive branch modify the 16th amendment? Unrealized gains are not mentioned in article I section 8, or in the income tax act of 1913 (16th amendment). How exactly does the edicts of the CEO apply to anyone outside his scope and prevue, Namely United State Of America Citizens who are not employed by the federal government? Isn't is also true, that Income is defined as gain or profit, or gains, profit derived from other activities, such as wages and salaries? And isn't is also true that reasonable compensation for services rendered is not profit?

You're not wrong, but they already do it with unrealized capital gains as part of the exit tax when expatriating. You are deemed to have sold everything the day before renouncing and taxed accordingly, even though you never sold a thing. I'm actually surprised someone hasn't challenged that in court yet.

If you don’t agree with that process you’re then called some type of -phobic, -ist, -ism, or whatever other suffix that’s supposed to mark you as a POS for simply just saying that whoever is exceptional and qualified should be the one who gets the job/opportunity/citizenship/scholarship or whatever other thing it is.

I am not so highly financially literated but I saw some news about the FED, which since September 2022 aren't paying the interest to the Treasury, they do pay but with IOUs. Until today the debt has reached almost 200 billion dollars, to any other party they are paying dollars, not with IOUs. I guess that either way they must increase the gross income derived from taxes. I tried to investigate a bit further and the interest payment derived from public debt has reached ca. 25% of the gross income which comes from all the taxes. I still don't undestand if that is about the USA or the sum of the states put together, or even the sum of the USA with each state and the territories. Could you please upload a video about it? What do Nom. Cap. think about it, is what I am writing about correct? I appreciate your illuminating work and I thank you.

I really can't see how else the government can recover from their decades-long of over-spending if they don't increase taxes, someone has to pay for these mistakes and resist the populists stance, no matter who wins. I'd love to see some mega-rich person take the govt of an English-speaking "western" country to court and have courts rule 'retro-active' applicable laws as illegal. I find it absurd that anyone tolerates such laws as they are effectively illegal laws. Why? Because if a law can be applied retro-actively then why do we have any laws. Say the highway has a speed limit of 140km/h (maybe its in Europe) but a month later gets changed to 100km/h and the govt go around booking everyone that drove on the highway for exceeding the speed limit by 40km/h because the law that changed the speed limit was applied retro-actively. What crime did those people commit? None - they followed the laws. It doesn't matter that its a tax, that's the govt extorting you because you complied with the laws at the time, then they say "oh we just passed a new tax but we're applying it from 2yrs ago, so you broke the law by failing to pay the correct taxes". Then your guilty of tax evasion and facing a felony. If following the law makes you a criminal then that is an illegal law. They should only be allowed to enforce new laws from the date they become law, this retro-active BS needs to end. All of CANZUK & CUNA are trying this BS because the masses are too compliant that they don't care, even when the issues are explained to them.

There’s absolutely no way of taxing a corporation without those taxes trickling down onto the customers and everyone else. You also forget when someone gets paid in stock they can claim they earned zero dollars for the year unless they actually sold that stock that year. The best tax system would be a large sales tax that way there’s nobody avoiding it or reporting it improperly. With income tax, it’s set up so a millionaire can say they earned zero dollars for the year. Even though they are making tons of purchases throughout the year.

Hey Andrew, I love your videos, but I wanted to point out that most inheritances are given to adult children in their late 50s, 60s, or even 70 so they worked their whole life, and their parents worked and saved their whole life too. But it will allow me to live a better life like multiple passports or where I can be treated best, as well as create opportunities for philanthropy and charities for things I care about. I am worried about all of these proposed changes to inheritance taxes and America in general.

Top 1% earners pay 45.8 of all federal income taxes. Despite holding 23.4% of the weld. The top 50 percent of all taxpayers paid 97.7 percent of all federal individual income taxes, while the bottom 50 percent paid the remaining 2.3 percent. The top half is actually the one subsidizing all social services the bottom half of the income payers benefits from. @@jolsm9726 That was generally accurate and was a good rebuttal to the OP's rhetoric. However, I think some nuance needs to be added. While the majority of the claims made were generally accurate or close enough to recent estimates that arguing over relatively minor differences is moot, the claim that the "top half is subsidizing all social services for the bottom half" is somewhat misleading. While it is true that higher-income earners pay a significant portion of federal income taxes, federal income taxes are only one part of the overall tax system. Lower-income individuals often pay a larger share of their income in payroll taxes, sales taxes, excise taxes, and state and local taxes, which are often regressive. Many social programs in the U.S. are funded not only by income taxes but also by payroll taxes, which apply to most wage earners (regardless of income level), and other taxes like state and local sales taxes. Thus, the bottom half also contributes to funding public services, even though they may pay less in federal income tax. Although the bottom 50% of income earners contribute only 2.3% of federal income taxes, they contribute a much higher proportion through payroll taxes and state and local taxes, often disproportionately compared to their income. In total, they likely contribute around 10-15% of total tax revenues, including these other forms of taxation. A more nuanced view would be that the tax system is progressive at the federal income tax level but regressive at the payroll and consumption tax level, resulting in both groups contributing differently to the funding of public services. The relative increase in the share of taxes paid by the bottom half (from 2.3% to 10-15%) and the relative decrease for the top half (from 97.7% to 85-90%) underscore the importance of considering the full spectrum of taxes when discussing the U.S. tax system. The regressive nature of many non-income taxes shifts a larger relative burden onto lower-income earners, even if they pay little in federal income taxes.
