To clarify, you have to find 6 Evo shards to evolve a card, there 2 types of shard: Evo shards (to evolve all types of card) and Evo troop shards (to evolve a particular card), every season, you’ll obtain at least 2 Evo shards and 3 Evo troop shards (Evo troop shards will randomly vary each season), you can find those 2 Evo shards in Season Shop and Pass Royale, and those 3 Evo troop shards in Season Shop (Season Shop is in the right corner of the screen, while Pass Royale is to the right of your name), to buy in Season Shop, you’ll need Season Token, and it can be obtained by playing every day or joining in an event, to reward in Pass Royale, you’ll need to collect enough crowns (after winning a game), a season will last for one month, so make sure you play consistently to have enough Season Token and crowns for those shards, any question you could ask there, I may help 😊

And sometimes, Supercell will give you a free Evo card on release of the new Evo or … when they want to keep players not to delete game, and if you could pay for Diamond Pass Royale (instead of the normal Pass Royale you’re having), you can get the newest Evo cards immediately 👍🏼
