funnily enough, resident mind can actually do damage to hotrash while in this tempo, i believe it's the continuous beam attack that can sometimes bypass the shield if he's close enough, so be sure to keep your distance during the fight.

He used overclocked sand. The sand tempo gives you the ability to hold space to freeze yourself in time. When you release space, your speed is accelerated and the rest of the world is slowed down depending on how long it was help for. Overclocked simply allows you to do so indefinitely, whereas normal sand has a time limit for how long you can freeze yourself.
