I also found another strategy that works :D Only happened because I figured this out on my first playthrough of the mines, but if you bring in a crucifix from floor 1 the Gloombats can't do any damage to you! ( -This does -*-not-*- use the crucifix thankfully- , the gloombats just become harmless as long as you holding it) Edit: Apparently there's an achievement for using a crucifix on gloombats so maybe just stick to ur strategy lel
