When you said that creativity stems from silence, it reminded me about something Walter Russell stated, to the effect that all of creation stemmed from Silence

Great colab! What I appreciate the most is the LIGHT energy. Really needed this. I am on a similar path as you, Arlin, and can relate A LOT. Thank you Owen for calming us down. Giving us perspective of how to properly enjoy life.

I think just realizing that we are not here on this Earth just to feel happy or fulfilled but rather to grow and evolve through tremendous personal challenge and hardship is key to embracing and working with life rather than resisting and working against it. The happiness and fulfillment are the reward for overcoming these intermittent challenges that we face but they are not meant to be a permanent state. Because if you ONLY ever felt happiness or fulfillment eventually you’d become numb to it and desire something else even if it was dissatisfaction and pain. Ultimately, you can’t know heaven if you don’t know hell. They both rely on each other in order to exist.

The existential crisis theme resonates with me.. I was raised with a violent sociopath alcoholic father who abused us, overcame that and got a six figure job in banking, watched Owen’s content but never invested in the programs and stayed in a mediocre coping state, then my younger bother snapped at home and shot my parents and himself to death on thanksgiving day, I broke mentally, a while later I entered a relationship with a very attractive but BPD woman, 6 months into relationship I find her cheating and went to her house to confront her, I went inside and she called the cops and I was charged with felony Burglary, I plead guilty to avoid prison time, banking career ruined, reputation destroyed now I’m clinging to society by a thread, bankrupt about to become homeless at 37. Invest in the programs guys, take action, be alert to your blind spots, this isn’t about pick up or getting laid, it’s about saving your life and soul.
@reactdev-q6tАй бұрын
Wow man, thanks for sharing this story. you know it's still not late to invest in the programs. If you can scrounge up whatever savings you have to be able to do that, I am sure that it will change your perspective and how you can enjoy the benefits you will achieve from the programs.

@@markettrader911 So, you are posting your autobiography for the purpose of hoping you will get therapy or pity. That is called being needy. Women, especially pretty women, can get away with it though, and do so all the time.

i watched a video the other day regarding meditation and being present. The premise being that a wandering mind is an unhappy mind. When your mind wanders and thinks about other things while you are doing an activity, it is a sign of unhappiness. While being engaged and focused on the activity at hand is happiness.

Happiness is like trying to catch a butterfly. The more you try to capture it the more it tries to escape. The more you let go and stop chasing it the more it will come to you.

Owen, I still don’t understand how to get through a deep existential crisis. I feel overwhelmed almost every day. There’s so much pain inside. I’m tired of it. I can’t seem to let go. Meditation doesn’t help. My ego will soon collapse, but I don’t know how to direct my efforts so that it collapses the right way. This kind of event only happens once in a lifetime, and I want to make sure I handle it as effectively as possible. What should I do? I don’t understand.

Love the podcasts. There’s huge value to boundaries to a point obviously but, IMO, the explosion in boundary content is because it’s the newest form of spiritual/personal development bypassing. Boundaries go around things that are valuable, so many people who have been rejected and hurt badly or ate generally unattractive in their vibe/behaviors are assembling a web of boundaries around themselves in an attempt to feel more valuable and worthy of love & relationships instead of improving their social skills and what they have to offer others in terms of vibe, fun, intimacy etc. In many cases, it’s yet another way to bypass actually changing. It’s like drafting all the structure of a 9 figure company hoping the 9 figure product will magically appear inside. Like you speak about Owen, many boundary problems solve themselves when you just bring more value to the table to begin with - that’s the real work

I believe that the observation of behavioral patterns in humans throughout time is a considering factor when understanding the evolution of the social constructs in societies, as it pertains to gaining knowledge of what works and what doesn't in a society, all cultures combined. Even recent history shows clearly how a Nation/Empire can be built or destroyed, giving evidence and a strategy on how to better the relationship with those who are close to us, and also, those who are less connected to us and bring some sense of harmony and peace to the world. Deep down inside I think we all love each other, but we seem to unknowingly love each other the way we truly love ourselves unconsciously depending on our own individual life and circumstances, to me! Ultimately, the all around prosperous way It seems for people to live around each other through time is to have a sense of morality, honor, respect, love, peace, understanding, things of that "paradigm". Can we reach the point of where people are joyous and less stressed, instead of the heavy energy that collectively mostly everyone seems to be on, overbearing rather than comforting?

Basically: Owen interviews young rich semi-famous guy Guy explains: I want more in my life(assuming he means more personality/freedom of expression due to how he acquired the cash being so robotic) because the hot girls chasing my money and status aint doin it for me chief. Heard this story and more a million times over. Just this one seems more relatable to the average joe ig. More genuine laughs on the new Joe Rogan-Elon interview than these *vibe connoisseur's* OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I tell people: if you’re a loser with woman, don’t be a loser with friends, family, neighbors, future biz parters or associates etc I scream at lazy people; what value do you bring to others, are you an asset or a liability. Are you a giver or a taker (freeloaders).

In one video Owen will say you won’t get results if you don’t realize they have many options like you and lead with value, and the you should go into it trying to give not trying to take. Yet in another video he’ll say the people who get the best results are convinced they are amazing and assume value, and they are always screening to find out if the person has what they want. Almost opposite advice.
@MinecraftKid120Ай бұрын
he's saying be on the level of the kind of person you want to attract/make friends with so you have something to offer them so its win-win and youre not taking. A guy with low self esteem and doesn't think he's the shit is not offering anything to a woman.
