How did you manage it and what did you learn?" / "Tell me about a time when your team / department failed. What happened, and what did you learn?" "What motivates you to stay at this company?" "What gets you out of bed in the morning?" "What do you like about working here?" "What does the path to growth look like in this role, and do you have any examples of people who have been promoted from within?" "Are there any professional development opportunities in this role?" "Can you tell me who was the most successful person you ever hired, and what did they do to become so successful?"

I literally hopped on this video minutes before my interview. I used some of these questions and I was able to determine that this job isn’t a good fit for me (not the other way around). These ACTUALLY work!!! It makes the interviewer reveal a glimpse of what it would be like if you worked there without needing to put one foot into the company. You saved me a lot of time and headaches. 😄
