Some My Life as dolls have squishy heads, so they will be easy to eyeswap, to take the head off, you need to pull the head at the point it detached. Then you basically eyeswap it like the same way. I don’t think my life as eyes would fit in American girl, same for American girl eyes in my life as dolls. But other My Life as dolls inside other my life as eyes would work. I never eyeswap day my My Life as dolls though.

IF YOUR DOLL'S EARS ARE PIERCED YOU NEED TO PUT IN EARRINGS FIRST OR ELSE WATER WILL COME OUT OF THE HOLES I LEARNED IT THE HARD WAY! Also, I'm in the process of switching out Mia's eyes with #49 and I have to stop and wait until tmr because my arm is literally so weak and shaking from taking 3 eyes out so I can't get the 4th out or put any in at this point lol, I suppose maybe the water isn't hot enough but still frustrating, I'm just glad I haven't ruined anything yet...

One problem though: Boiling water in a microwave is known to be dangerous unless safety precautions are taken, e.g. leaving a wooden spoon in a cup. Now it isn't as dangerous as what some might think, but it can happen.

Why does hot water make it easier to remove the eyes?

It makes the vinyl soft. Otherwise, it's not possible to get them out :)

@@KateLovesAG If you are using Addy mold, Asian Mold (#4), or Jess mold, those are the hardest to eyeswap, that is probably why.
