Love that there’s a video to do this, literally found a set of Gen 1 seats for a good price that I might buy haha! I’ve read that on the passenger side, you have to cut and solder some wires?

You might be able to transfer the box from the gen 2 seats and be okay. However sometimes you do have to swap a few transitors and what not to get them to not throw the light.

Why didn't you swap sensors from orginal seats? Would of done away with the airbag light

Hey did you have an airbag sensor issue with the passenger side when you did this swap. I’ve read of some issue where although the harness matches and stuff for some reason there’s an issue with the airbags on the passenger side

Yeah I am having that issue.. I might try and swap out the what I think is the fuse box? From my stock seats and see If that fixes the issue.

That’s what I was thinking might fix the issue when I was doing my research but no one ever said anything about it and the forum thread on this swap are pretty much dead. I’d love to keep informed if that does work for u
