No all you do is you power off both phones then on the old phone you'll see this little dot on the side, you use something and pull it gently and it'll have a card. Do the same thing for the new phone. Take the card out of that little thing gently and try not to touch it but if u hsve to touch it gently and u just put it on the newer socket thing and secure it gently and put it bsck in and then your good

I'm experiencing problems when I get to the "preparing...." stage of the transfer. My android HTC Desire 610 keeps saying "Your transfer was interrupted. Please close any apps or do not open any apps during the process" or something along those lines. The thing is I am not touching the phone at all and all the apps are closed!! Can someone please help...?

Gotta warn you though, the transferring takes FOREVER! I chose to transfer all 4 choices (contacts, apps, photos etc .) I had to keep starting over due to the loss of connection maybe 4 times .....
