I've got a variety of 6SN7 tubes from tube rolling with my previous Schitt Freya preamp. Any general differences with the 12SN7 tubes?

Nope, no overall differences, outside of the regular difference between tubes based on brand, provenance, etc. Just make sure the tubes are matched and very quiet. Let us know if you find any you particularly like... ~ Nicholas

@@LinearTubeAudio I rolled various 6SN7 tubes. Raytheon VT-231, 5692, CBS Hytron Canada. Honestly, the tubes you supplied with the unit are the best. The Microzotl makes even el cheapo NOS tubes sound good. That wasn't the case in the Schitt Freya. You needed expensive tubes, i.e. Brimar vintage to make it sound good. I'm very impressed with the Microzotl build quality. The tube sockets are top shelf- very strong connection. This isn't the case with cheaper preamps and it totally matters.

Hello Sir, I wish to swap using 12au7 tubes instead of your default 12at7 tubes but couldn't find the jumpers for them. Could you let me know where the jumper is located? Is it at bottom left corner or where? Thanks ！

Hello. Sorry it took so long for us to see your question. You do not need to change any settings or jumpers when switching the 12AU7 / 12AU7 tubes. The jumpers when changing between 6SN7 and 12SN7 tubes are labeled and located centrally a bit off to the left. If your unit is very old, it may be hardwired for a certain tube type.
