How I take product pictures for my Etsy shop and edit them from my iPhone. I’m using the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but this will work with older models too that have portrait mode. Great video. Thank you for posting it. I do have one question. When you do so much "editing" would it be wise to post one natural (unedited) pic as well or do you find it not necessary? I would be concerned that the (let's say purple) is not as deep or bright as the edited photo. Is that ever an issue?

I only edit so they look like they do in real life. Definitely keep them true to color. Blues and purples you need to be especially careful with.

Do you use a watermark or a logo on your photos on any platform?

ImoginationStation I don’t. The main reason is that Etsy won’t feature a product if it has a watermark on it. But that might be a good idea for platforms like IG, FB, and Pinterest.

What is the size of the wood for your background? An estimated number is fine....I don't need an exact number. I plan to make something similar for pictures and I am trying to figure out how big to make it. I am going to start making wreaths again and I don't have a nice background for photos. Thanks.

I’m not really sure. They’re lath boards from the walls of a super old house that was renovated. I’d say they’re maybe 1 1/2 inches wide and maybe 3 ft long? I just used what was free 😂

I use the IPhone 11 but I can’t get my pictures .....listing or thumbnail sized correctly. What ratio do you use when you crop your photos? Same with the videos. Any tips, tricks or advice.

Lynn Kennon I believe the 5:4 ratio is best for Etsy listing photos, but honestly I don’t really worry about it too much. I actually don’t take the time to crop mine perfectly. I just crop it to where the pic looks good. You can use something like Canva to crop them perfectly, though. I hope that helps! I’m a bad example of this though.

Hi! What I began doing is taking o Ics in the square mode and sending to Paint software and changing pixels to 2000 and then save to a folder. Works perfectly every time. Etsy suggests the pixels and square photo.

I hope you can help me - I'm trying to restart my Etsy shop. I now use a Mac for the Etsy shop and take photos with my iPhone. How do I get the photos from the phone to the Mac Etsy shop?

You can air drop your iPhone pics to your Mac and then add to your Etsy shop from your Mac. But you can save that step and just upload your pics to your Etsy shop from your phone, and then work on the rest of your shop on your Mac.

I have iphone 11 and a foam whiteboard someone gave to me for free actually. I seen a company vehicle and asked them if they had a material and they said stop by and gave to me for free, Works well, white cloth material works well, anything that the buyers can see. facerbook and Instagram are a waste of time.
