Would love to see how your products work for 4c hair, especially the air dry cream and the serum. I bought them already lol but tips help. Plus I have locs👀 but I like your nurture shampoo so far and the pre scalp oil already and I want to up my moisturizing and anti frizz game. I do like nothing after I wash my hair but it could use some extra juice between washes.

@@KEHM3831 a nylon and boar bristle brush for straight oily hair! Brush ur hair, root to tip, once or twice a day to DISTRIBUTE that oil from the scalp to the ends... Free leave-in conditioner! The Embody shampoo & conditioner has been amazing for my fine, waxy scalp. Like, it LATHERS while still being moisturizing! The recovery Serum is a must for the ends and mids and it feels so silky but lightweight. Remember JVN is silicone free, and silicone isn't absorbed into the hair like other products and aren't absorbed by dry shampoo. The Hemisqualane in the JVN stuff has been an amazing replacement for me! I have bleached hair to help with my curl resistance and my ends aren't crispy nor my scalp oily since I jumped ship to silicone free and JVN 😉

Straight hair care and styling! It’s a challenge for the average 1a or 1b to add movement and life to our hair, not to mention how many products are too heavy for our hair types.

Same, I'm Italian and I have 2a-2c waves and my hair is super prone to frizz but it gets weighed down by product very quickly because the individual hairs are fine. Fine but high density. It's a nightmare.

@@mayaward609 honestly loading up with hydrating product till the hair squelches then diffusing with a blow dryer is a total game changer! Refreshing with leave in conditioner or your favorite conditioner mixed with water in a spray bottle does work wonders on day 2-4 hair (depending on how long you can personally go w/out washing)

You can use these products on straight hair too*! Because there isn't any silicone it's hard to OVER apply 💙 so u can set a blow-out or air dry and spray w/water to reactivate the curl cream day 2 and do a wet set! Edit: my point was supposed to be that you can do ur hair with her eventually and she can do yours w/products that she understands ☺

Heaven bless you JVN for these tutorials which are extremely helpful for all of us curly people! Growing up my hair looked like a shrub because hair stylists were not trained on curly hair..I hope that the industry is changing. Red curly hair is a blessing but I had to grow into my hair after being teased as a kid for so long...ugh.. Thank goodness there are stylists now who are trained properly. In Canada Jonathon Torch has trained countless stylists and Curl Ambassadors is my go to salon. You're amazing JVN..xx

I do all these steps except the diffuser. I let my hair air dry or I put my diva fan on while I do my skincare. But I don't like putting unnecessary heat on my hair. My curls are EXTREMELY defined without the diffuser. This girl's hair came out beautiful though. 😍 ❤ Edit: I also have the luck out that my sister is a licensed hair stylist. She so taught me how to care for my hair that's right for me. She cuts my layers so it's the perfect curly fro and the sharpest shag layers with a fringe when straight. ❤

Her hair came out gorgeous! Such beautiful natural textures! My curls are very mixed like this and super fine in some places (yay aging/birth control/heat damage/breakage), so the tip about not being afraid to use a lot of product is major for me! That's a big reason I stopped using hair gel, I felt like I was weighing my hair down and getting super crunchy in some spots but less defined and frizzy in other spots, especially around my crown. Love this tutorial and just bought a diffuser so I'm ready!! 💕

Thank you for doing these videos! All 3 of you have gorgeous hair! My hair is naturally wavy and I recently got a perm. Are there any differences with the process or styling products for natural vs. permed hair?

I had always straightened my curly hair but now it's like a flattened wave/curl kinda damaged. Do you have any tips to try and get my curls back to how they were before?

Definitely scalp treatments and prep and diffuse to bring them back out. Need to restore those roots!

i think once the capillary structure has changed from all the heat or chemical damage, there's no way coming back.. it took me 5 years and i still have some flattened parts (10%) because i never stopped straightening it, even tho I've been way more careful and concious about the damage! but I assure you it'll be the same once you really start taking care of it and it's all "brand new hair"

Look into the Curly Girl Method, there's what they call the Transition Phase, for me it was about 12 weeks and since then I've been fine. The key is to stop using heat in all forms ASAP, including hot water (and in this video they were using the hair dryer on hot, I wouldn't even do that), and moisturise moisturise moisturise. Your hair is damaged, you may need to cut it, but you will get there!

@@AdriiGuia hair doesn't have capillaries - capillaries are blood vessels and hair is keratin like fingernails. No damage is permanent! It is all fixable even if it takes time
