I'm another newbie to the resin world. I've been watching your videos for a while so I can be better prepared when I start, and for the wonderful ideas you've shared too. Just got some silicone molds and measuring cups to start off with, waiting on better ventilation now. I knew that having cats, I would need to keep the molds stored where fur doesn't get on them. I had no idea beyond that on proper storage and care. So this video was extremely helpful. And I'm sure the baggies will prevent fur getting to them even better than the plastic storage box I'd put them in. Thanks so much for all that you share! I really enjoy watching your videos. :)

I just got a cheap resin kit to see if I enjoyed it. Then while waiting on delivery I found your videos. Very informative but now I have a shopping list. Actually I have two shopping lists. One for immediate needs just to try things out and the other for in the future. Luckily I already have the breathing equipment. So I don't need that but there's a bunch of other stuff I need. Mainly baby wipes and mixing cups cuz I forgot those last night. This had better be fun. Thanks for the instructions! I keep watching & my list keeps getting longer. Seriously I have a notepad app open behind the youtube app & keep having to switch over to it. Luckily everything is inexpensive so far. At least for starting anyway.

Thanks for the info on storing molds. I had a problem with some of mine coming rolled up in the shipping container and having a difficult time reshaping them so I store them with cardboard in the plastic bag to ensure they stay straight, is that a bad thing? It’s still got all the air sucked out of it but will the cardboard do anything, I do of course keep the cardboard on the back end of the mold only. Also is the mold release a good idea/required for storing a new mold? I have several that I haven’t used yet, should I pull them out of their little baggies spray them and then put them back? Or is that really only between uses? Take care and stay safe!
