Hey guys, I'm a DIY subsciber and gardener from Lake Charles, LA (U.S.A.) who's partial to tropicals and succulents. I have a fairly good collection, including 5 desert roses and a good sized 3-branch plumeria, "Teresa Wilder".The desert roses that are all 6-8" tall and the plumie is around 4 feet. Wow, that Aeonium is gorgeous. That will be next on my collection. I had a Perle Von Nurnberg a while back that unfortunately died apparently from root rot. I see losing a plant as a learning experience. One learns from his/her mistakes, don't we? In the case of the PVN, I take full credit for overwatering. I'm sure that's happened to all of us! Keep the great videos coming. 🪴🌵🌴

Hi Dale, yes overwatering s arguably the biggest killer of plants. I see you are a fan of fancy echeverias, have you tried Echeveria agavoides ebony? Its a gorgeous cultivar (at least in my mind) and surprisingly tough. I leave mine in the unheated greenhouse to winter and they easily produce offsets if we get a decent summer.
