I’ve been looking for tutorial on how to take pictures of flower arrangements for soooo long and now finally one of my favorite florists did. I was holding my breath, watching the video because I don’t want to miss any part of your advice. 😆 Could you also share the tips on how to set up the back drop for flower arrangement’s photographing that you would recommend? Also if you can share your tips on taking photos of your flower at the venues too? I’ve heard that we should not trust the wedding photographer because most of the time, flowers is not what they want to focus on the most. Yet we want really nice photos of our flower designs for our portfolio/ website. Thank you!

I definitely will share more tips and videos this year! I learned the hard way that it's always worth the effort of making time to take photos of your own work - it's not necessarily fair on the wedding photographer that we're also relying on them. In so many cases their shot list if a million pages long and "flowers on the table" probably isn't on the top of the list (why not?!?! 😆). Most often they are pinched for time and / or the light is getting really bad so they don't have much to work with anyway. So I literally built it into our run sheet / production schedule on the day - it's made such a difference.

Hi there! Thanks for this video! Any tips on the preset applications/photographers you use for this? Do I need adobe lightroom?

Lots of florists use VSCO. I like Lightroom best and just use the free version on my phone + a set of purchased editing presets (these are a game changer in making your photos look great!)
