@Cam wow, yeah the heavy's are hard to kill that's For sure. I Can't face them straight on or likely die every time. I can only fight them from the crane because of the stairwells line of sight being bugged for me. 5 headshots to kill a heavy, 3 head shots for the blue guys.

@soap soup yeah it's the best spot to take them from. I've been using the top of the Crane more lately, you can shoot them more freely & not just peek their heads..keeping moving is key so they can't lock their aim bot onto you.. you will see in my next vid. The heavy's seem to have been nerfed a lot since test branch and they are kind of easy once you figure them out..

You don’t need full road sigh hazy is good enough and you can large with Tommy as a solo asking as you hit most head shots

@Salim yeah tommy works but you will need a long range weapon to clear scientists before boarding large rig especially if solo. If you use the tommy all the way it will be really hard to hit shots from afar on scientists and your gun will be broken before your done with the heavy's not to Mention the counters you should expect to arrive. You can do small rig like that if you hit mostly headshots but large I don't think so your gun will be too broken..

Me and my duo are avg at pvp, would you suggest we wait to get boltys before we go for rig ? So we can try take out the scientists before getting onto rig ? We only have tier 2 guns atm.

@Liverbird I would use a Sar to kill most of the scientists that you can before pushing up. The blue scientist act more aggressive now in recent updates and they push you more once your spotted. Small rig is a lot easier and I wouldn't worry about killing the scientist as much as on large rig especially as a duo you can just push them with tommy and kill them as you go up even, but it's a good idea to kill them from your boat first if you have a semi auto rifle especially for large rig due to so many more scientists. I wouldn't worry about having a bolty, it's nice to defend rig with but a sar can do the job just fine. A bolty 4x is a little expensive as well to lose early on, if your just teir two and not rich on hqm for the 4x yet. I personally like the m39 best for oiling. Good luck!

@Liverbird it's fairly easy if you have decent guns it's just the larger groups to watch out for. After you take it a few times it gets easy. Get a SAR and research it so you can craft them so you won't have to worry about losing it. You may need to have one guy keeping watch all times for boats approaching. The sar should help defend at range to hold off any counters. You should be able to see before you get to the rig of anyone is onboard because the scientists will be gone so then you can decide to swim on and counter maybe would be the best choice or go home with your gear for next oil. Try and go for oil as soon as it comes to the map otherwise it might be best to wait until the crate is called in and then counter it with just hazzie tommy and try take their gear. I always swim on when countering.

I'm sorry but I don't put into practice everything that I recommend In the video. I recommend the most basic of gear and guns to use to take rig with. @Th3 sorry to hear, you can't be down on the floor, if you fall crouch jump up and edge over on the very edge of the crane cab, It's the spot where you almost fall off onto the floor below. It's the only spot to hide from m2 on the crane other wise just keep moving locations on top of the crane and they can't really hit you too well.

@lkrame Chaara yeah for sure hazzie is 30% full body projectile from what I can learn so really it's almost same as road sign kit. I think rust in game hazmat info is not correct for 5% projectile..? SAR will be the go to weapon for rig until you get teir 3 and crate weapons. Sar is the best teir 2 weapon for rig.. durability & range for scientist.

Scientist actually Deal bite damage I think so roadsign is the best for chest legs and gloves but for head you’ll want a riot helmet bandana mask and metal gear is actually very bad for oil but for counters metal is the best obv

@Bryan Fischer Yeah I see mixed information about scientist projectile damage vs bite damage. Sounds like bite damage don't make you bleed so I'm not sure. Rust on pc changed form bite damage to bleed sometime in 2020. I don't know what version we are on compared to pc. I know our version was much older in comparison a short time ago.. like 2018 pc rust
