I'm new to German language. Your vids have been very helpful and motivating. I thank you for that. I'm a teacher of English language but my native tongue is Spanish. Incredibly, I see more syntactic similarities between Spanish and German than English and German, despite their common origin. I has also called my attention that you use a comma to introduce the subordinate clause as in "He said, that he is..." which you wouldn't actually use in English. Keep up the great work! ( I don't dare to post auf Deutsch yet).

Just a quick question: At 11:50 you say that the Modalverb always stands at the end of the sentence, but with subordinate clauses you mentioned that the conjugated verb always stands at the end as well. So does the latter rule supersede the former? z.B. ich glaube, dass ich bald ein Auto kaufen können werde. Ist das richtig? Thanks again!

Hi👋 Yes, your sentence is 💯 correct.🙂👍 Subordinate clauses normally always send the conjugated verb to the last position. 🙂🙏 Didn't mention this in the bonus tip to keep it as simple as possible as the video was intended for A2 level and the bonus tip exceeded this level by far already. 🫣🙃🥴

Wann ist ein "w" Fragewort. Auf Englisch ist when. Wenn Wenn ist eine Konjunktion, die einen Nebensatz einleitet. Auf Englisch ist "if".

Dankeschön. 🙂👍🙏 As for the level we placed this in: Yes you are right to mention this and we also know that according to course books like "Menschen" it is introduced in B1.1. 👍 But this doesn't make much sense at all cause the same book introduces "passive voice" in A2, which is based on the helping verb "werden" just like "Futur I" but much harder to understand for learners at this level than "Futur I". In our opinion it makes more sense to have those two grammar topics in the same level rather than splitting them up and explain the easier topic in the higher level. That's why we 🙂👍🙏
