A popular question we get in the shop is how to taper a leather belt to fit a certain buckle size? We show you in this video an easy way to accomplish this. I show you the math and how to keep it centered and balanced.

I guess I'm just dense, but doesn't the belt buckle type on the customer's existing belt affect the belt length when measuring from the bend to the hole they measure to? How do you take into account the buckle they will use if it's different? Meanwhile I'm a big fan. Love your work. Wish I had your talent!

you don't measure from the buckle, you measure from the leather at the turn where the buckle is (start of leather not start of tip of buckle)
