I instantly subscribed to this channel when I saw someone finally showing the scientific paper on screen and analizing it properly. There are many channels recommending this and that but never showing or explaining the science to back it up. Please keep doing more videos and thank you. And also I apologize if there's any grammar mistake in my writting, English is not my language. ✌🏽

Thanks for the video, really helpful! I realized that I intuitively did a lot of things right in my tapering the last years, except I reduced the intensity (no real hard workouts during the last 2 weeks)

Could you do a video on doubles (two runs in one day)? I'm planning to do a morning run before a track workout so I can get those extra miles in to make up for the more intense track workout. Are doubles effective and how much?

By the way, could you also do a video on compression? Do compression socks actually help fighting fatigue while running? And do they help with regeneration? That would be awesome :)

should you do no workout the 2 days before a competition to fully recover? I cant see doing a workout the day before a competition.

Hi! When you start the taper & reduce the volume, do you reduce the volume from you’re previous week or you’re highest mileage volume week during you’re marathon training? :)

I know you did a video on stretching but Can you do a video on if warming up (e.g. "light jogging" , "getting your heart pumped up") is actually beneficial before doing training/competiting. + Why its advantageous/disadvantageous (the actual science behind it)? Thanks mate

I wonder to what extend optimal taper is influenced by race distance. I'd imagine a 5k taper to look quite different compared to a 100k mountain ultra taper.

Great point, ill see if I can dig up anything on this for future taper videos.

If you need tapering a lot means you were overtraining
