How to teach impulse control and manners around food to a puppy

In this session, 16 week old Davy is continuing to learn about manners and impulse control around food, while I'm working in a group setting with my adult dogs. This is also growing his understanding and value of boundary games at the same time.

Oh, I love this. This was perfect and let me ask you a question if Davy went and jumped on one of the other dogs mats or bed what would you do?

that would be o.k. but they tend to all pick a bed for themselves and the square one is the bed I use all the time for Davy so he probably thinks it's "his" bed :)

As if to maybe play not just make a mistake and go on the wrong bed

Davy actually prefers working with me over playing with the other dogs ... not really typical for puppies of his age but I'll take it!
