It is indeed! The card size in Libertalia is 63x88mm.

Received my preorder and got a few games in with my roommate. It's good quick fun. My question is: Is there a reason players can't randomly draw their 6 cards instead of using the same hand? I know some cards are more powerful but would it make the game too unbalanced? Sorry if you already addressed this and thanks in advance.

Not an expert at all but in the games ive played, there were cards that had dusk abilities that affected the card with the same same so those abilities would just not work if your opponent didn't have that card.

Also if you drew cards with numbers 1 through 20 and your opponent drew cards 21 through 40 then you would never get first pick of the loot which is important.

Ade: Indeed, that would be a very different, unbalanced game with no deduction at all. Libertalia is all about stating with the same cards; the decision space is when you play those cards (which turn and which round).

I used your recommendations this weekend for a four player game and they worked beautifully. We were up and running very quickly with very few rules questions. Everyone had a great time.
