Yep.. im definately dating a feminine man 😢😒 another thing ive noticed about him that i think makes him feminine is he is very comfortable with asking for things from me, asking me to do things for him. He asks for money, asks me to buy him this and that, bring him food on my way to him etc... That annoyed me so much i had to tell him to stop asking me for things coz that made me view him as needy, lazy and unattractive. He was very offended by that and has since stopped. I told him that i should be the one doing all that. He asks so much that i barely have the opportunity to ask him for things too. It doesnt give me room to be needy and feminine 😒😒 All these signs are spot on. Thank you Chengi ♥️ this made so much sense.

The guy 'asks for money, asks girl to buy this and that for him, asks her to bring food for him on her way to him' now imagine a girl asking a guy to do her dishes when he visits her, clean up her house and iron her clothes. Maybe I'm too traditional but it just doesn't sound right to me. It's something I would appreciate if he does but I would never ask of him. I would also buy things for my man, bring him food but if he if he feels too comfortable asking for it and does it too often then that strips me off of my femininity. Men and women will never be equal. Although we may take each other's roles from time to time we are designed differently, which is why one provides the sperm and the other carries the baby. If we were meant to be equal we would be designed to take turns to carry the baby and produce sperm.

I have all the masculine traits mentioned, BUT I do care about my appearance and spend time in the gym to look and feel good, and to push my limits. I also groom. I've realized that on face value, because I'm "good looking," I come off as feminine. I'm also charismatic and a good conversationalist. A thousand thanks✨✨. This message is so important & needed. The NARC that I dealt with had feminine energy. He was indecisive, emotionally immature & pathologically selfish. However if I made a decision on anything he became insolent & defiant. Like a disobedient teenager. That’s when I knew something was wrong but back then no was talking about feminine & masculine energy. I also started to notice his inability to lead. I assumed it had to do with him being raised by a single mother. One day I read this book “Getting to I do” by Dr. Patricia Allen. She breaks down the importance of understanding feminine & masculine energy. It finally made sense as to what I was dealing with in that situationship. I realized that my default setting was that of a masculine woman. If I didn't want a repeat changes needed to made. Immediately. So 7 years ago my true journey as a feminine woman emerged.

This does not take away from their masculinity. Women are attracted to strong and healthy looking men, and rival men usually don’t challenge those who they perceive as strong. Is this something I should let go to become masculine or is it sometiing that can be integrated?

I tried not to focus on appearance, but is actually reflects how you feel on the inside. For example, I’ve been overweight, I had problems with meds and with situations in my life that unfortunately led me there, but when you are healthy on the inside (in your mind and feelings), your outside is healthy too. So if I see an overweight or (worse) obese man in his 30’s, single, with no kids, and a regular job, it is definitely a turn off for me, because how can a (masculine) man comfort himself with food to the point of compromising his health? Am I being too masculine?

@salg63513 жыл бұрын
They do this cause a lot of boys are born with feminine features and traits but all that feminine energy is ruined and suppressed when a feminine boy is sexual or mentally abused by a toxic overly masculine man or woman. When those feminine tendencies are suppressed for years it can manifest into toxic behavior and anger towards you or others. Cause when a feminine boy is broken and forced to live a masculine lifestyle with machismo beliefs and values. He’ll go crazy tryna be something he’s not. You understand. There’s a lot of broken men out there with unsolved issues and trauma.

If someone is coming at me I don’t want a fat out of shape dude falling over and can’t throw a punch or knock him to the ground. 😭 Now if a guy is posting gym mirror selfies all day with his shirt off then THAT is feminine 100%! 😑

I think it is in the how they approach the gym thing - if they do it because they want to be stronger and healthier so that they can be a better father, partner, son etc. - it is a masculine energy. But if they are obsessed on how they looks and how others look at them - it is feminine energy.

Hi Chengi, thanks for your effort here. I'm fairly new to your content, so forgive me if I haven't found this detail yet, but it seems to me this video (and a few others I've watched) are putting "feminine" and "masculine" on a diametrically opposing binary scale (if you are feminine, you are not masculine and vice versa). Apply the binary genitalia someone possesses (penis or vagina), and you have an overly simplified system of "feminine woman", "feminine man", "masculine woman" and "masculine man". While individuals surely exist that precisely embody these four architypes, I believe many more will fall someplace in-between. Reality is far more complex than this. E.g. Someone can be very successful in their career [masculine], but not by pushing over others to gain that success [feminine]. They can balance their career with time for family and themselves. They can be in touch with their own emotions and empathetic (and cry at movies) [feminine], but not be an "emotional mess" [masculine]. They can love art/dance/music/theatre [feminine], but find popular fashion/style horribly uninteresting [masculine]. They can be highly assertive about their beliefs [masculine], but still be open to discourse and collaboration to give me more perspective to influence those beliefs [feminine]. I am (genuinely) interested in your take on this. What advice would you give to all the people watching that don't directly relate to any of these 4 categories? Do they have to choose where they and their significant others fit, or are there other tools these individuals might need to best get along in the world?

Hi Dave, Thank you for this question! Its intelligent and a delight to respond to. We are all both feminine and masculine and both energies are necessary to experience healthy, happy human lives. This channel is about romantic relationships from the perspective of women and their priorities. We have to choose a dominant energy in all aspects of life. At work we need to choose masculine energy otherwise we simply won't get tasks accomplished nor make any money. In this we are in DOMINANT masculine energy and this applies to male and female. The work place is dominantly masculine because we get paid to produce and get things DONE. The issue is when we are in relationships and we are not in complimentary energy we lose attraction or become competitive. In relationships it is important to choose one's dominant energy. In brief, will you be either the Provider, Protector and Cherishing Masculine or the Available, Receptive and Respecting Feminine? Whilst this may sound regid in practice there will indeed by moments of exchange but these must be upon agreement and smart communication. The rabbit hole goes much deeper and as you can imagine I would need a few hours video to explain this in depth. The long and short to your question is that there is a great deal of flexibility only when one becomes proficient with the rudiments and masters the elementary which I touch on in this video. Balance is ALWAYS the desired outcome xx

@@blackswanrelationshipacademy Thank you for your detailed reply! I like this detail about the dominant energy and how it's going to be necessarily different in various contexts. Thanks for this video, it confirms my instincts on the matter. There are a lot of feminine men out there, is it partly social fashion? Partly all the oestrogens in the water? One masculine trait which I find in very short supply is mental virility. This is nothing to do with sexuality, in fact, men who emphasise their own sexuality fall into the feminine category. Nor is mental virility anything to do with aggression or cruelty. Mental virility quietly manifests itself as a definite vibe the man carries, a specific approach to the world. I can't define it, but it's instantly recognisable. The unfortunate thing is, it's not always generally popular and it takes a truly adult and mature woman to respond to and appreciate it. Many women prefer the cosiness of a more feminine man. Occasionally, mental virility is found in a woman, but it is definitely a masculine trait.

@@monvici and that’s ok. Everyone’s balance is different. But I think that’s good news for you because I think modern men have been conditioned to be more feminine & emotional. He’s out there but the odds of him being very masculine are pretty slim because although all men have emotions, masculine men tend to not prioritize them. Most masculine men value simplicity. Emotions are very complex so for us to tap into that part of our brains at a frequent rate takes energy that is usually applied to getting things done in the physical world. So by the time we get home we’re tired & want to relax & be at peace. That’s not to say we can’t have deep conversations, but timing & frequency should be considered

@@blackswanrelationshipacademyThat's a cop-out. If someone points out examples of aggressive/toxic masculine behaviors (i e. abuse, violence, control) you can't just chalk that up to a man "sitting in his feminine energy" while at the same time lumping in men who are sensitive, introverted, meek, artistic, unambitious, etc. This is a completely incoherent vision of what feminine energy supposedly looks like.

Idk why im even here i think im tired and thats when i look up odd things, like if theres people like me. I dont try to be feminine, its just what i always did. I need a woman who can stand up when i do not, i am who i am and if i force it, its hilarious. If she wants macho man randy savage, i aint it baby. Unless its in the bedroom of course but il leave that there LOL. And there's nothing wrong with a woman having masculine energy. As for masculine men, they definitely take care of their looks lol they're just not obsessed with it.

@edgarbenjoseph38792 жыл бұрын
@@blackswanrelationshipacademy You can't say there's nothing wrong and then say it's distorted lol As for feminine men, there's more and more because of the rise of feminism that makes many men suppress their masculinity and feel guilty about their masculinity. Another thing that destroys masculinity, is toxic mothers and toxic feminine women. Maybe you can talk about that. Toxic femininity, look it up, is a huge problem that women such as yourself have an opportunity to talk about and educate other women on. Being a non controlling and surrendered woman actually gives a lot of space for men to be masculine. Many women are so hard, independent, difficult and controlling that men don't have the space to be masculine. Also, masculine men are not comfortable with ball busting controlling women.
