Before you go convincing yourself you have MS, remember there's lots of nutritional deficiencies that can cause these symptoms. Any of the B vitamins deficiency like, B1, B3, and not just B12, can cause these symptoms. Overdosing on sugar on a regular basis can cause vitamin C deficiency because sugar competes with vitamin C in the body and vitamin C is very important for the myelin sheath. Being low in iron especially your ferritin level can cause a lot of these symptoms. Even if you do get a definitive diagnosis of MS don't ever keep a doctor that tells you there's nothing that can be done. Your body is NOT like a broken machine. Every day it's replacing sick and defects cells in the body. The way you treat it will determine if those sick cells get replaced with new health cells or sicker and weaker cells. Your body your choice, best wishes.

Thank you for the information you put forth. I was diagnosed in 1998. I was fortunate enough to be at one of the finest institutions around now know as MS Center of Atlanta. I had Dr. Doug Stuart as my MS doctor from 1998-2019 when we had to move away. Luckily I found a wonderful new doctor in Dr. Colleen stack. But now she works exclusively at Carolina East Medical Center. I would need to be hospitalized to see her. Now I must try a new beginning February 1ST. Wish me luck.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 20+ years ago but I now have ALL of these MS symptoms and not in a mild way either. The problem is that I also have every symptom of severe Fibromyalgia. Is it possible to have both? Nearly every day of my life for the last 20 years I find myself thinking "There is no way this is just fibromyalgia." It's either that Fibromyagia is far worse than doctors describe or I have aquired yet another crappy disease. Either way, I need to know what the hell is really going on here. I can barely even walk anymore and it takes my entire will to even do light grocery shopping or simple meal preparation. I am such a cognitive mess it has taken me 30 minutes just to write this comment. It scares me to think that I may have undiagnosed MS and it is running rampant and doing damage because my Fibromyalgia has concealed it's presence. I guess I'll be making a doctors appointment sooner than later. I need to know.

I'm in the same boat as you Glynnis- as a nurse, I realize this may have been a misdiagnosis. It took 20 years finally to find someone to believe me. I had a Neurologist already rule out ALS and other drs rule out other stuff.

I used to have constant burning shoulder blade pain that radiated into the neck and have had that painful eye movement but that has been a long time ago. A few years ago my legs went stiff as a board. People told me I could be dehydrated but they never loosened, even when I sat down. I've had spells of vertigo so severe I couldn't drive and leave the store. I had to have someone to come pick me up. All at once I lost weight, my memory went to crap and just a general feeling of lethargy. I remember my lips and front teeth would go numb as well along with a spot on my leg. I developed Raynaud's. During that time I could barely climb any stairs as my legs would shake like jello. I used to have strong legs. I'm only 45 yo btw. They're not so bad not but still not like they used to be. I still feel a little shaky if I have to walk through a tight spot or something because I almost always fall over when I do that now. They're not like jello like they were but still shaky. My muscles still feel constantly tight and it makes me stand funny. I've had people to actually comment on the way I stand. I can't stand for to long at a time without having to lean over or something because my legs will start to burn. Does this sound like MS for anyone that has the diagnosis and felt the same thing or what does this sound like? I went to Dr's but had no answer but to take Vit D supplement. Why do I have to stand funny and hurt like this just to walk or stand? Something isn't normal and hasn't been for several years now.

Also 45 and pretty much in the same situation. It’s been almost ten years that I’ve been trying to get some kind of diagnosis. 🤦🏻♀️ By any chance are you in the northern states? I’ve read that MS is more common in the colder states. Those Hot hands things kinda help with Raynaud’s but oh do I know how much it sucks! At least the Raynaud’s I was diagnosed when I was 10 but the doctors just say avoid the cold! 😂 Seriously!? I live in New England so avoiding the cold is absolutely laughable! What really sucks though is now the heat is a problem. I use to live for those Hazy Hot & Humid days but now it’s just too much. I’ll end up weak and my legs will spasm and lock up. I wish it wasn’t so damn hard to navigate an afford quality medical care. Not all doctors are created equal!

You have to advocate for yourself! Ask/demand a referral to a neurologist with expertise in MS. Have an open dialogue with your primary care doctor about your history. It's very useful to keep a log of your symptoms over time. I wish you well ( I don't have MS but I have plenty of immune system problems and have walked in your shoes).

@@mohammedsaifhussain7747 first off you have to let stress go, you have to let go of the things that cause you stress and anxiety as it will only lead to continued inflammation of the neurons in your gut and brain - 2nd your diet is just as important if not more important - people that develop ms have leaky gut syndrome from heavy diet of carbs, fiber, and fruits and vegetables. Fruit and vegetables were never a natural part of the human diet but we adapted to them overtime. Fruit and vegetables are loaded with oxalates and anti nutrients. Anti nutrients heavily outweigh the nutrient benefits. The brain is pretty much only fat and cholesterol and the myelin sheath that surround and protects nerves in the brain and gut and rest of body is dominantly fat and cholesterol. You need a diet that is heavy in fats and cholesterol in order to prevent progressing ms and repair your myelin sheaths. You need an animal meat/fat diet, which was always the natural diet of mankind… lastly you it is paramount to avoid or taper off of all pharmaceutical drugs and/or heavy narcotics of your using them.

I’ve had every symptom for years. Just recently in the last 1-2 years it’s progressed significantly, yet I’m still waiting for a Neuro to see me. In May. A local one will not accept my case because I’m “too complex” of a patient :( So they pick and choose which patients get helped based on medical history while the patient waits and suffers? I’d think the more complex you are, the more digging would be done. Obvious testing and imaging to start and then if you can’t figure it out, next specialist… not just NO right off the bat.
