Not always true but I can see that being the case for most INTJs, especially if they have less dating experiences. My INTJ ex asked me out pretty immediately with lots of confidence haha.

It's true though; I love someone to be direct and you'd be greatly rewarded 9/10 times for it, but if I have a crush on you I'll probably avoid you because it's so much energy to try to act like I don't like you. I think this INTJ didn't quite understand what the INFP meant between being inconsistent in behavior because they like someone and disliking disingenuous people who are inconsistent in their character. These are two completely different things that were explained in good enough detail and yet he still failed to reconcile the difference between the two. But A for effort he tried!

My thoughts when I was watching this vid: 3:36 she says she likes directness. I feel like I can see the guy thinking ooh I should be more direct. (But girls mean with your intentions, not tryna scheme by orbiting and trying to friend them into a relationship) 4:30 she says she avoids crushes. I actually do this too. But the guy completely misunderstands, this avoidance is more when the person is in your orbit, not when you're being approached or interacting. 5:30 he brings up hearing she's into his type lol 7:00 lmao he's probably bringing this up bc he thinks maybe she liked him and he missed his chance. Also her response could be referring to him (going back to 3:36). Then they talk about directness for a while. 9:45 cringed haha. Basically friendzone in action. Also, boobs wow. Absolutely correct. He's so into her, and he's not taking the hints. He's also displaying a lot of neediness, i.e is acting more like a female than him: which just kills attraction-as there's no polarity. She likes guys with the confidence to be direct-when they first meet, or soon thereafter-is what she's saying. He needs certainty, and she's not offering it; so he's wilting in front of us. That's not even INFP, [well, it is-moreso], that's just pretty women in general-with lots of choices. They do this, pull back; to see if you can handle it emotionally-or chase after them/validation/certainty-which again kills sexual polarity, as women should be the ones to pursue. She will pursue a guy, if she likes him; though as an INFP [I actually think she might be ENFP-but what do I know], the guy would still need to pursue her in the beginning. She will pursue when/if she develops feelings, which will be later [if at all]-as women fall in love later. It's men who fall in love quickly, as we tend to be more visual. He's beta male orbiting so hard, he's spiraling into the ground in front of us, lol. I feel sorry for him. But we've all been there. Also, boobs; wowzas. Imagine if you smuggled coke into the U.S in those things [fake]. Should have been a smuggler, I knew it. They're like airships. I could do drag for a million dollars. INTJ

@@choco1199 my psychologist explained to me this behavior could be stemming from past childhood abuse or trauma... in the form of emotional/physical neglect. As adults we tend to subconsciously look for relationships we are most familiar with growing up, even the unhealthy ones. It blew my mind. INFP here.

I am not fully aware of it, but I absolutely was emotionally and physically neglected, even today I do not hug my mother or tell her I love her. It was too weird and uncomfortable. And I don't mean that I was abused, that she did it on purpose, my relationship with my mother is amazing, but she was the one who was abused as a child, and she had a child too young and she wasn't equip to handle the emotional needs of a child, because she lacked the emotional needs from her parents too who were both emotionally and physically abusive. I realise that I romanticize relationships, and when I get to know someone and they don't fit my ideal type because we got into an argument for example, I can't handle it and I am instantly turned off and wanting to move on. I don't have relationships often either, because of trust issues and I know what I want, but I always like the "honeymoon" phase or the "chase" phase of relationships, and when reality hits, I can't handle it.

Someone would say something and I can feel that they would like me to agree and share the experience but I'd just be like... nope, cant relate.. actually I dislike it. 😂😂 For that particular situation where a person becomes more reserved after starting to know them, its going to give an appearance of looking essentially uninterested.
