The ticks don't burrow into the skin, rather only jaws attach while the rest of their body sticks out. If there's a flat and round speck that doesn't have legs or sticking out at an angle then likely scar (or freckle maybe).

I'm sure the male do feed. I was listening to a lecture given by a tick expert and he said that the males of that tick species do actually feed, although not for as long as the female.

f you have a tick problem on your lawn just sprinkle crushed egg shells on your lawn. birds love egg shells its where they get there calcium. once a bird finds egg shells on your lawn he will keep coming back. while hes looking for egg shells he finds ants to eat... ticks... beetles..The other birds see him foraging on your lawn and they go down there and eat too.

did it have antennas? because i have thos bugs to but idk if there ticks or not. but the ones i got have antennas and in this video they don.t got antenna. if u do got ticks they will last 3 to 5 days in ur house they can go away without treatment but if u have pets then ur gonna need to call thos bug ppl to kill em all.
