EV6 and Flex Fuel injectors have a larger square shaped connector. EV1 injectors have an oblong shaped square connector (usually found on the early LS1). Multec regular injectors (which are usually the non-flex fuel Truck/SUV injectors) use a smaller more rounded square shaped connector. If you want to run E85, the EV6 and Flex Fuel injectors need to be used. I sometimes run E85 in my LS6 built Suburban, and it’s a pretty noticeable difference on response even on the factory LS6 tune.

Also whenever I do an LS swap, I use the factory wiring harness from the donor vehicle. It makes it way easier to figure out which wire is which, and match it with the swapped vehicles wiring. The factory harness can be used to wire in the existing equipment, like the blower motor, ignition switch, etc. I swapped in a 5.3 into my uncle’s 1978 Impala and used the factory harness from a wrecked Tahoe and wired everything up, and that car since has received a $15,000 custom paint job, and he doesn’t let anybody except me touch that car since I put the engine in and wired up the harness.

It’s ev6 and ev1 all you have to do when ordering the harness just make sure you buy the correct harness for the injectors you plan to run on your swap
