I think the bowl is ridiculously small for the amount of chocolate used, there is no valid reason why must fill up the chocolate to the top

I saw another video where the baker said the same thing- use the bowl that will be full. That baker explained the reason but I can’t remember it; it was a complicated reason.

You shouldn’t use glass to melt in the microwave, use plastic

Yeah because the chocolate keeps cooking he the glass bowl and it won’t set

Use a larger bowl - unless you don't mind a mess (or less chocolate)

When you buy a thermometer... how do you know it's accurate for chocolate? Because I don't really reach 20 degrees

😂 this is so funny Using a bowl far to small for the job, if using less chocolate, use a smaller bowl lol Also don’t use a glass bowl in the microwave. Glass retains the rest & can get hot spots which can upset the tempered chocolate. And then she takes a heat gun to the poor expensive chocolate 😓 Best to use a plastic bowl in the microwave as said by the Callebaut chocolatier & not use a heat gun lol

People dont be scared...she made it harder than it looks... use a bigger bowl, and put it back in the microwave... I'm surprised she didn't bring out the welding gun out...smh..

my teacher had her in like a warmer kept it right temperature. guess that was expensive machine lol

Hi Katherine, Using something to keep the temperature constant is great if you have it; this is just an alternative if you don't have that equipment. Hope you found it helpful! Thanks for watching :)
