A = anode K = cathode. If your wondering why K in Cathode its because western education is based on Greeks and Greeks Kathodos. If you go further back you will use Turkish language or slang or short terms for electric based wording..because Turks and arabs and babylonians (iraq) were the absolute first to discover electricity in around 1000bc or maybe longer. But in the western world we use Greek. I believe they use greek everywhere now.
