How To Test Your Aquarium Water | PH | Ammonia | Nitrite | Nitrate | Malayalam |

In this video I am showing testing procedure of aquarium water using API freshwater master test kit. Understanding the water chemistry and water quality that you are using in your aquarium will help you maintain a healthy, trouble free aquarium. Testing your freshwater aquarium water quality helps avoid problems when it is first set up, and ensures healthy, algae free tank and vibrant fish over the long term.
Many of the issues with plant growth and allege comes from the water source you are using, it is recommended to use treated water in your planted tank , but in case you are using the tap water it is better to check the water quality to make sure its suitable for your tank.
Also, when you set up a new aquarium, in order to make sure the nitrogen cycle is completed you can use this test kit to check the Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate level.

Chechi എന്റെ Oscar ന് white spot disease വന്ന്‌ ചത്ത്‌ പോയി. പിന്നെ ഞാൻ Tank നന്നായി ക്ലീൻ ചെയ്ത് Flowerhorn crossbreed fish വാങ്ങി ഇട്ടു ഇപ്പോൾ 1week ആയപ്പോൾ അവയ്ക്കും white spot disease വന്നു. Tank ൽ ഞാൻ കല്ലുപ്പ് ഇട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു മാത്രമല്ല methylene blue വും നന്നായി add ചെയ്തു. എന്നിട്ടും ഈ White spot vannu. കോമഡി എന്തെന്നാൽ Oscar ന് White spot വന്നപ്പോൾ അതിന്റെ ദേഹത്തു തട്ടി ഉരുമി നടന്ന Firemouth cichlid & Jewel childs ന് ഒരു പ്രശ്നവും ഇല്ല. But ചിലപ്പോൾ മീനുകൾക്ക് മാത്രമേ ഇവ affect ചെയ്യുന്നുള്ളൂ. ഇത് എന്തിന്റെ പ്രശ്നം ആയിരിക്കും water ph ന്റെ ആണോ or തണുത്ത കാലാവസ്ഥയുടേതാണോ ഞാൻ ഈ ഡിസംബർ മാസത്തിൽ ആണ് oscar നെ ഒക്കെ വാങ്ങി ഇട്ടത്. മുൻപ് ഞാൻ 12 വർഷത്തോളം Goldfish & Koi Carp നെ വളർത്തിയിരുന്നു അവർക്കൊന്നും ഒരു പ്രശ്നവും വന്നിട്ടില്ല.... ഇതിന്റെ കാരണം ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞു തരുമോ?

Well, that TDS level is way too high for planted tank..TDS should be less than 200..you might consider using RO water system.

Its good to have PH test kit and TDS meter, none of these things you will use everytime.only when setting up the new tank .

Well, actually you might get some idea about TDS , if you see lot of white deposition on the glass your TDS can be high.
