This is exactly how I budget so I’m so glad to see that this way is common . I’ve been watching some other budget videos out of curiosity and automatically 2mins in , I instantly get overwhelmed lol . Some people honestly do WAYYYY to much .. I get the fancy stickers and colors but whewww .. it’s exhausting to even watch . But I get it , some people have more bills than others . Since I’m very minimal and don’t have any consumer / credit card debt this simple way works for me . Thanks for sharing !

Thank you I started budgeting at the end of 2019 and found that I had notebooks laying around I wasn't using and put them to use I feel that as long as you're keeping track of what you spend and save is simple enough for me even though the stickers look cute this is a awesome way to do it without making it difficult. I definitely love the Dave Ramsey cash envelope system! I just got 3 dollar tree pocket organizers for the cash. It's really good for people who need visual systems to function best. The biggest downside by far is handling credit card purchases (I'm sure Dave would say cut up the credit card, but we prefer to have it and treat it with the respect of a debit card). Basically I've tried to establish the habit of transferring the cash amount to the "Bank" tab immediately after using the card, but I keep my receipts for the credit purchases until I do that. Other than that, this is pretty much exactly how we write up the monthly budget!

My mother always does this when it comes to financial literacy. She used to show me how she writes down her budget just like in the video, so I'ma try to do the same because I need help with saving money and manage money at the same time, and speaking of saving money, do you have a video of tips of saving money? I definitely need to do my budget realistically in great detail so I know what to expect. I need to stop spending hundreds of dollars on take out food and junk food at cvs so I don't be broke and stressed out every month. Its time to make wiser decisions and handle my stress eating in a much more helpful way with therapy and practice relaxation meditation/yoga techniques.
